اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ 4×

Allahu akbar

"Allah is Most Great"

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ 2×

Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illa llah

"I bear witness that there is no god but Allah"

أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ 2×

Ash-hadu anna Muhammadan Rasulu-llah

"I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah"

حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ 2×

Hayya 'alaa 's-salaah

"Come to prayer"

حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ 2×

Hayya 'ala 'l-falaah

"Come to success"

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ 2×

Allahu akbar

"Allah is Most Great"

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ 1×

Laa ilaaha illa-llah

"There is no god but Allah"

الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ، يَا مَنْ أَرْسَلَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَىٰ رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ

As-salaatu was-salamu 'alayk, ya man arsalahu-llahu ta'ala rahmatan li 'l-'aalameen

"Blessings and peace be upon you, O one whom Allah sent as a mercy to all the worlds."

الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ، وَعَلَىٰ آلِكَ وَصَحْبِكَ أَجْمَعِينَ

As-salaatu was-salamu 'alayk, wa 'ala alika wa sahbika ajma'een

"Blessings and peace be upon you, and upon your family and all your companions."

الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ، يَا أَنْبِيَاءَ اللَّهِ

As-salaatu was-salamu 'alaykum, ya anbiya Allah

"Blessings and peace be upon you all, O prophets of Allah."

ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ 4×

ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ 2×

Allāhu Akbar

Allah is Most Great

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللّٰهُ

Lā ilāha illa-llāh

There is no god but Allah

الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ، يَا مَنْ أَرْسَلَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَىٰ رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ

Blessings and peace be upon you all, O prophets of Allah

صَلِّ يَا رَبِّي وَسَلِّمْ عَلَىٰ جَمِيعِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ، وَآلِ كُلٍّ أَجْمَعِينَ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Salli ya Rabbi wa sallim ʿalā jamīʿi 'l-anbiyāʾi wa 'l-mursalīn, wa āli kullin ajmaʿīn, wa 'l-ḥamdu lillāhi Rabbi 'l-ʿālamīn

translation

عَلَىٰ أَشْرَفِ الْعَالَمِينَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّلَوَاتُ (صلام)

ʿAlā ashrafi 'l-ʿālamīna Sayyidinā Muḥammadini 'ṣ-ṣalawāt (sallam)

most Noble

عَلَىٰ أَفْضَلِ الْعَالَمِينَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّلَوَاتُ (صلام)

ʿAlā afḍali 'l-ʿālamīna Sayyidinā Muḥammadini 'ṣ-ṣalawāt (sallam)

most Excellent

عَلَىٰ أَكْمَلِ الْعَالَمِينَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّلَوَاتُ (صلام)

ʿAlā akmali 'l-ʿālamīna Sayyidinā Muḥammadini 'ṣ-ṣalawāt (sallam)

most Perfect

صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَأَنْبِيَائِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَجَمِيعِ خَلْقِهِ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Ṣalawātu 'Llāhi taʿālā wa malāʾikatihi wa anbiyāʾihi wa rusulihi wa jamīʿi khalqihi ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli Muḥammad, ʿalayhi wa ʿalayhimu 's-salām wa raḥmatu 'Llāhi taʿālā wa barakātuhu

salawat

وَرَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَنْ سَادَاتِنَا أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أَجْمَعِينَ، وَعَنِ التَّابِعِينَ بِهِمْ بِإِحْسَانٍ، وَعَنِ الْعُلَمَاءِ الْمُتَّقِينَ، وَعَنِ الْأَوْلِيَاءِ الصَّالِحِينَ، وَعَنْ مَشَايِخِنَا فِي الطَّرِيقَةِ النَّقْشَبَنْدِيَّةِ الْعَالِيَةِ، قَدَّسَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَىٰ أَرْوَاحَهُمُ الزَّكِيَّةَ، وَنَوَّرَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَىٰ أَضْرِحَتَهُمُ الْمُبَارَكَةَ، وَأَعَادَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَىٰ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ بَرَكَاتِهِمْ وَفُيُوضَاتِهِمْ دَائِمًا وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

wa raḍiya 'Llāhu tabāraka wa taʿālā ʿan sādātinā aṣḥābi rasūli 'Llāhi ajmaʿīn, wa ʿani 't-tābiʿīna bihim bi-iḥsān, wa ʿani 'l-ʿulamāʾi 'l-muttaqīn, wa ʿani 'l-awliyāʾi 'ṣ-ṣāliḥīn, wa ʿan mashāyikhinā fī 'ṭ-ṭarīqati 'n-Naqshbandiyyati 'l-ʿāliya, qaddasa 'Llāhu taʿālā arwāḥahumu 'z-zakiyya, wa nawwara 'Llāhu taʿālā aḍriḥatahumu 'l-mubāraka, wa aʿāda 'Llāhu taʿālā ʿalaynā min barakātihim wa fuyūḍātihim dāʾiman wa 'l-ḥamdu lillāhi Rabbi 'l-ʿālamīn

divine Will

اللَّهُمَّ بَلِّغْ ثَوَابَ مَا قَرَأْنَاهُ وَنُورَ مَا تَلَوْنَاهُ هَدِيَّةً وَاصِلَةً مِنَّا إِلَىٰ رُوحِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ وَإِلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالْأَوْلِيَاءِ، خَاصَّةً إِلَىٰ رُوحِ شَاهِ نَقْشَبَنْدَ وَشَيْخِنَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الدَّاغِسْتَانِيِّ، وَالشَّيْخِ نَاظِمٍ الْحَقَّانِيِّ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ

Allāhumma balligh thawāba mā qaraʾnāhu wa nūra mā talawnāhu hadiyyatan wāṣilatan minnā ilā rūḥi Nabiyyinā Muḥammadin ﷺ wa ilā arwāḥi 'l-anbiyāʾi wa 'l-awliyāʾ, khāṣṣatan ilā rūḥi Shāh Naqshband wa Shaykhinā ʿAbdi 'Llāhi 'd-Dāghistānī, wa 'sh-Shaykh Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī wa 'ṣ-ṣiddīqīn

translation

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala aali Muhammad

"O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad"

قَدْ قَامَتِ الصَّلَاةُ 2×

Qad qaamati 's-salaah

"Prayer has begun" - unique to Iqāmah

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ 2×

Allahu akbar

"Allah is Most Great"

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ 1×

Laa ilaaha illa-llah

"There is no god but Allah"

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala aali Muhammad

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ (3×)

Subḥāna Rabbiya 'l-ʿAẓīm

Glory be to my Lord, the Great

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ (3×)

Subḥāna Rabbiya 'l-Aʿlā

Glory be to my Lord, the Most High

التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَىٰ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

At-taḥiyyātu lillāhi wa 'ṣ-ṣalawātu wa 'ṭ-ṭayyibāt, as-salāmu ʿalayka ayyuhā 'n-nabiyyu wa raḥmatu 'llāhi wa barakātuh, as-salāmu ʿalaynā wa ʿalā ʿibādi 'llāhi 'ṣ-ṣāliḥīn, ash-hadu an lā ilāha illa 'llāh wa ash-hadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhu wa rasūluh

All greetings, prayers and good words are for Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli Muḥammad, kamā ṣallayta ʿalā Ibrāhīma wa ʿalā āli Ibrāhīm, innaka Ḥamīdun Majīd

O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent prayers upon Abraham and upon the family of Abraham. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ

As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatu 'llāh

Turn head to left:

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ

As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatu 'llāh

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah

ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ

Allāhu Akbar

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ (3×)

Subḥāna Rabbiya 'l-ʿAẓīm

Glory be to my Lord, the Great

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ (3×)

Subḥāna Rabbiya 'l-Aʿlā

Glory be to my Lord, the Most High

التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَىٰ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

At-taḥiyyātu lillāhi wa 'ṣ-ṣalawātu wa 'ṭ-ṭayyibāt, as-salāmu ʿalayka ayyuhā 'n-nabiyyu wa raḥmatu 'llāhi wa barakātuh, as-salāmu ʿalaynā wa ʿalā ʿibādi 'llāhi 'ṣ-ṣāliḥīn, ash-hadu an lā ilāha illa 'llāh wa ash-hadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhu wa rasūluh

All greetings, prayers and good words are for Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli Muḥammad, kamā ṣallayta ʿalā Ibrāhīma wa ʿalā āli Ibrāhīm, innaka Ḥamīdun Majīd

O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent prayers upon Abraham and upon the family of Abraham. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ

As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatu 'llāh

Turn head to left:

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ

As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatu 'llāh

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah

ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ

Allāhu Akbar

Allah is Most Great (Begin with hands to ears, then fold on chest)

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ (3×)

Istaghfiru-llah

I seek forgiveness from Allah

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ

Astaghfirullaha 'l-'azheema 'Lladhi laa ilaaha illa Huwa 'l-Hayyu 'l-Qayyoom wa atoobu ilayh

I seek forgiveness from Allah the Magnificent, there is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining, and I repent to Him

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ، تَبَارَكْتَ وَتَعَالَيْتَ، يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ

Allahumma anta 's-salaamu wa minka 's-salaam, tabaarakta wa ta'alayta, ya dha 'l-Jalaali wa 'l-ikraam

O Allah, You are Peace and from You is Peace. Blessed and Exalted are You, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْـحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ

Laa ilaaha illa-llah, wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahu 'l-mulk, wa lahu 'l-hamd, wa huwa 'alaa kulli shay'in qadeer. Sami'naa wa at'anaa ghufraanaka Rabbana wa ilayka 'l-maseer

There is no god but Allah, alone with no partner. To Him belongs the kingdom and all praise, and He has power over all things. We hear and obey. Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the final return

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ (3×)

Istaghfiru-llah

I seek forgiveness from Allah

Fa'tabiroo ya ouli 'l-absaar. Inna lil-llaahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon. Salatu 'l-janaza 'ani 'l-ghaa'ibeen alladheena 'ntaqalu ila rahmati 'Lllah ta'ala min ummati Muhammad, salla 'Llahu 'alayhi wa sallam

introduction

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنَا وَمَيِّتِنَا وَشَاهِدِنَا وَغَائِبِنَا وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرِنَا وَذَكَرِنَا وَأُنْثَانَا، اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أَحْيَيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَأَحْيِهِ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ وَمَنْ تَوَفَّيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَتَوَفَّهُ عَلَى الْإِيمَانِ

Allāhumma 'ghfir li-ḥayyinā wa mayyitinā wa shāhidinā wa ghā'ibinā wa ṣaghīrinā wa kabīrinā wa dhakarinā wa unthānā. Allāhumma man aḥyaytahu minnā fa-aḥyihi 'ala 'l-Islām, wa man tawaffaytahu minnā fa-tawaffahu 'ala 'l-īmān

third Dua

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِأَحْيَائِنَا وَارْحَمْ مَوْتَانَا وَاشْفِ مَرْضَانَا بِحُرْمَةِ الْفَاتِحَةِ

Allāhumma 'ghfir li-aḥyā'inā wa 'rḥam mawtānā wa 'shfi marḍānā bi-ḥurmati 'l-Fātiḥa

final Dua

فَاعْتَبِرُوا يَا أُولِي الْأَبْصَارِ. إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ. صَلَاةُ الْجَنَازَةِ عَنِ الْغَائِبِينَ الَّذِينَ انْتَقَلُوا إِلَىٰ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ مِنْ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ، صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Allāhumma 'ghfir li-aḥyā'inā wa 'rḥam mawtānā wa 'shfi marḍānā bi-ḥurmati 'l-Fātiḥa

final Dua

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

Ash‑hadu an lā ilāha illa‑llāh, wa ash‑hadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhu wa rasūluh

translation

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ 100×

Astaghfiru 'Llāh

I seek forgiveness from Allah

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ وَمَعْصِيَةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ مَا يُخَالِفُ دِينَ الْإِسْلَامِ، يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

Astaghfiru 'Llah min kulli dhanbin wa ma'a-siyatin, wa min kulli maa yukhaalifu dina 'l-Islam, ya arhama r-Rahimeen

I seek forgiveness from Allah from every sin and disobedience, and from everything that opposes the religion of Islam, O Most Merciful of the merciful

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

Ash‑hadu an lā ilāha illa‑llāh, wa ash‑hadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhu wa rasūluh

translation

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ 100×

Astaghfiru 'Llāh

I seek forgiveness from Allah

Lā ilāha illa 'Llāh Muḥammadun rasūlu 'Llāh, ṣallā 'Llāhu taʿālā ʿalayhi wa ʿalā ālihi wa ṣaḥbihi wa sallam

There is no god but Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. May Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, his family, and companions

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلِّمْ

Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli Muḥammadin wa sallim

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, and grant them peace

صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَأَنْبِيَائِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَجَمِيعِ خَلْقِهِ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Ṣalawātu 'Llāhi taʿālā wa malāʾikatihi wa anbiyāʾihi wa rusulihi wa jamīʿi khalqihi ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli Muḥammad, ʿalayhi wa ʿalayhimu 's-salām wa raḥmatu 'Llāhi taʿālā wa barakātuhu

May the blessings of Allah Most High, His angels, His prophets, His messengers, and all of His creation be upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad. Upon him and upon them be peace and the mercy of Allah Most High and His blessings

اللَّهُمَّ بَلِّغْ ثَوَابَ مَا قَرَأْنَاهُ وَنُورَ مَا تَلَوْنَاهُ هَدِيَّةً وَاصِلَةً مِنَّا إِلَىٰ رُوحِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ وَإِلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالْأَوْلِيَاءِ، خَاصَّةً إِلَىٰ رُوحِ شَاهِ نَقْشَبَنْدَ وَشَيْخِنَا عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ الدَّاغِسْتَانِيِّ، وَالشَّيْخِ نَاظِمٍ الْحَقَّانِيِّ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ — الْفَاتِحَةُ

Allāhumma balligh thawāba mā qaraʾnāhu wa nūra mā talawnāhu hadiyyatan wāṣilatan minnā ilā rūḥi Nabiyyinā Muḥammadin ﷺ wa ilā arwāḥi 'l-anbiyāʾi wa 'l-awliyāʾ, khāṣṣatan ilā rūḥi Shāh Naqshband wa Shaykhinā ʿAbdi 'llāhi 'd-Dāghistānī, wa 'sh-Shaykh Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī wa 'ṣ-ṣiddīqīn — al-Fātiḥa

O Allah, convey the reward of what we have recited and the light of what we have chanted as a gift reaching from us to the spirit of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and to the spirits of the Prophets and Saints, especially to the spirit of Shah Naqshband and our Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani, and Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani and the truthful ones — al-Fātiḥa

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، صَلَّى اللَّهُ تَعَالَىٰ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Lā ilāha illa 'Llāh Muḥammadun rasūlu 'Llāh, ṣallā 'Llāhu taʿālā ʿalayhi wa ʿalā ālihi wa ṣaḥbihi wa sallam

There is no god but Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. May Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, his family, and companions

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلِّمْ

Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli Muḥammadin wa sallim

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, and grant them peace

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، صَلَّى اللَّهُ تَعَالَىٰ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Lā ilāha illa 'Llāh Muḥammadun rasūlu 'Llāh, ṣallā 'Llāhu taʿālā ʿalayhi wa ʿalā ālihi wa ṣaḥbihi wa sallam

translation

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ 100×

Astaghfiru 'Llāh

I seek forgiveness from Allah

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ وَمَعْصِيَةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ مَا يُخَالِفُ دِينَ الْإِسْلَامِ، يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

Astaghfiru 'Llah min kulli dhanbin wa ma'a-siyatin, wa min kulli maa yukhaalifu dina 'l-Islam, ya arhama r-Rahimeen

I seek forgiveness from Allah from every sin and disobedience, and from everything that opposes the religion of Islam, O Most Merciful of the merciful

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، صَلَّى اللَّهُ تَعَالَىٰ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Lā ilāha illa 'Llāh Muḥammadun rasūlu 'Llāh, ṣallā 'Llāhu taʿālā ʿalayhi wa ʿalā ālihi wa ṣaḥbihi wa sallam

Ṣalawātu 'Llāhi taʿālā wa malāʾikatihi wa anbiyāʾihi wa rusulihi wa jamīʿi khalqihi ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli Muḥammad, ʿalayhi wa ʿalayhimu 's-salām wa raḥmatu 'Llāhi taʿālā wa barakātuhu

May the blessings of Allah Most High, His angels, His prophets, His messengers, and all of His creation be upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad. Upon him and upon them be peace and the mercy of Allah Most High and His blessings

اللَّهُمَّ بَلِّغْ ثَوَابَ مَا قَرَأْنَاهُ وَنُورَ مَا تَلَوْنَاهُ هَدِيَّةً وَاصِلَةً مِنَّا إِلَىٰ رُوحِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ وَإِلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالْأَوْلِيَاءِ، خَاصَّةً إِلَىٰ رُوحِ شَاهِ نَقْشَبَنْدَ وَشَيْخِنَا عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ الدَّاغِسْتَانِيِّ، وَالشَّيْخِ نَاظِمٍ الْحَقَّانِيِّ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ — الْفَاتِحَةُ

Allāhumma balligh thawāba mā qaraʾnāhu wa nūra mā talawnāhu hadiyyatan wāṣilatan minnā ilā rūḥi Nabiyyinā Muḥammadin ﷺ wa ilā arwāḥi 'l-anbiyāʾi wa 'l-awliyāʾ, khāṣṣatan ilā rūḥi Shāh Naqshband wa Shaykhinā ʿAbdi 'llāhi 'd-Dāghistānī, wa 'sh-Shaykh Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī wa 'ṣ-ṣiddīqīn — al-Fātiḥa

O Allah, convey the reward of what we have recited and the light of what we have chanted as a gift reaching from us to the spirit of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and to the spirits of the Prophets and Saints, especially to the spirit of Shah Naqshband and our Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani, and Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani and the truthful ones — al-Fātiḥa

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

Ash‑hadu an lā ilāha illa‑llāh, wa ash‑hadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhu wa rasūluh

translation

فَاعْتَبِرُوا يَا أُولِي الْأَبْصَارِ. إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ. صَلَاةُ الْجَنَازَةِ عَنِ الْغَائِبِينَ الَّذِينَ انْتَقَلُوا إِلَىٰ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ مِنْ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ، صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Fa'tabiroo ya ouli 'l-absaar. Inna lil-llaahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon. Salatu 'l-janaza 'ani 'l-ghaa'ibeen alladheena 'ntaqalu ila rahmati 'Lllah ta'ala min ummati Muhammad, salla 'Llahu 'alayhi wa sallam

"Take heed, O you who have eyes to see. Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. The funeral prayer for those absent who have departed to the mercy of Allah the Most High from the community of Muhammad, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him."

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ 7×

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala aali Muhammad

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ 7×

Astaghfirullah

I seek forgiveness from Allah

وَإِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ الرَّحِيمُ

wa ilaahukum ilaahun waahidun laa ilaaha illa Huwa 'r-Rahmaanu 'r-Raheem

And your God is one God; there is no deity but Him — the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ؛ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

A'udhoo bi-llahi mina sh-shaytani r-rajeem; Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the accursed. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

وَإِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ الرَّحِيمُ

Wa ilaahukum ilaahun waahidun, laa ilaaha illa Huwa 'r-Rahmanu 'r-Raheem

And your God is one God; there is no deity but Him, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ ۗ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ

Allahu laa ilaaha illa Huwa 'l-Hayyu 'l-Qayyum, Laa ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa laa nawm, lahu maa fi 's-samawaati wa maa fi 'l-ard, man dha 'Lladhi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi idhnih, ya'lamu maa bayna aydeehim wa maa khalfahum, wa laa yuheetuna bi shayy'in min 'ilmihi illa bi ma shaa', wasi'a kursiyyuhu 's-samaawati wa 'l-ard, wa laa yaa-uduhu hifzhuhuma, wa Huwa 'l-'Aliyyu 'l-'Azheem Sadaqa 'Lllahu 'l-'Azheem

Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation does not tire Him. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. Allah the Magnificent has spoken the truth

سُبْحَانَكَ يَا عَظِيمُ

Subhaanaka ya 'Azheem

Glory be to You, O Magnificent

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَلَىٰ نِعْمَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَشَرَفِ الْإِيمَانِ، دَائِمًا

Subhaana-llah 'alaa ni'mati 'l-Islam, wa sharafi 'l-Iman, daa-iman

Glory be to Allah for the blessing of Islam and the honor of faith, always

الْـحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ شَأْنُهُ، وَلَا إِلَٰهَ غَيْرُهُ

Al-Hamdu-lillah ta'ala shaa'nuhu, wa laa ilaaha ghayruh

All praise is due to Allah, exalted is His glory, and there is no god other than Him

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

Allahu Akbar

Allah is Greatest

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا، وَالْـحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا، وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْـحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. سُبْحَانَ رَبِّي الْعَلِيِّ الْأَعْلَىٰ الْوَهَّابِ

Allahu akbar kabeeran, w 'alhamdu lil-lahi katheeran, wa subhaana 'Llahi bukratan wa aseela, Laa ilaaha illa-llah wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahu 'l-mulk, wa lahu 'l-hamd, yuhee wa yumeet, wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shayyin qadeer. Subhaana Rabbi 'l-'Aliyyu 'l-a'ala 'l-Wah-haab

Allah is Most Great with great greatness, and all praise is due to Allah abundantly, and glory be to Allah morning and evening. There is no god but Allah, alone with no partner. To Him belongs the kingdom and all praise. He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things. Glory be to my Lord, the Most High, the Supreme, the Bestower.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلِّمْ

Allahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa 'alaa aali Muhammadin wa sallim

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad and grant peace

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ الْـحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ

Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem, Al-hamdu lillahi Rabbi 'l-'alameen, Ar-Rahmani 'r-Raheem, Maliki yawmi 'd-deen, Iyyaka na'budu wa iyyaka nasta'een, Ihdina 's-sirata 'l-mustaqeem, Sirata 'lladhina an'amta 'alayhim, ghayri 'l-maghdubi 'alayhim wa la 'd-dalleen

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked Your anger or of those who are astray.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ 7×

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا، وَالْـحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا، وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْـحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. سُبْحَانَ رَبِّي الْعَلِيِّ الْأَعْلَىٰ الْوَهَّابِ

Allahu akbar kabeeran, w 'alhamdu lil-lahi katheeran, wa subhaana 'Llahi bukratan wa aseela, Laa ilaaha illa-llah wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahu 'l-mulk, wa lahu 'l-hamd, yuhee wa yumeet, wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shayyin qadeer. Subhaana Rabbi 'l-'Aliyyu 'l-a'ala 'l-Wah-haab

Allah is Most Great with great greatness, and all praise is due to Allah abundantly, and glory be to Allah morning and evening. There is no god but Allah, alone with no partner. To Him belongs the kingdom and all praise. He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things. Glory be to my Lord, the Most High, the Supreme, the Bestower.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلِّمْ

Allahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa 'alaa aali Muhammadin wa sallim

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad and grant peace

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ الْـحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ

Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem, Al-hamdu lillahi Rabbi 'l-'alameen, Ar-Rahmani 'r-Raheem, Maliki yawmi 'd-deen, Iyyaka na'budu wa iyyaka nasta'een, Ihdina 's-sirata 'l-mustaqeem, Sirata 'lladhina an'amta 'alayhim, ghayri 'l-maghdubi 'alayhim wa la 'd-dalleen

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked Your anger or of those who are astray.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ 7×

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala aali Muhammad

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ 7×

Astaghfirullah

I seek forgiveness from Allah

وَإِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ الرَّحِيمُ

wa ilaahukum ilaahun waahidun laa ilaaha illa Huwa 'r-Rahmaanu 'r-Raheem

And your God is one God; there is no deity but Him — the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ؛ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

A'udhoo bi-llahi mina sh-shaytani r-rajeem; Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the accursed. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

وَإِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ الرَّحِيمُ

Wa ilaahukum ilaahun waahidun, laa ilaaha illa Huwa 'r-Rahmanu 'r-Raheem

And your God is one God; there is no deity but Him, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ ۗ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ

Allahu laa ilaaha illa Huwa 'l-Hayyu 'l-Qayyum, Laa ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa laa nawm, lahu maa fi 's-samawaati wa maa fi 'l-ard, man dha 'Lladhi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi idhnih, ya'lamu maa bayna aydeehim wa maa khalfahum, wa laa yuheetuna bi shayy'in min 'ilmihi illa bi ma shaa', wasi'a kursiyyuhu 's-samaawati wa 'l-ard, wa laa yaa-uduhu hifzhuhuma, wa Huwa 'l-'Aliyyu 'l-'Azheem Sadaqa 'Lllahu 'l-'Azheem

Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation does not tire Him. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. Allah the Magnificent has spoken the truth

سُبْحَانَكَ يَا عَظِيمُ

Subhaanaka ya 'Azheem

Glory be to You, O Magnificent

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَلَىٰ نِعْمَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَشَرَفِ الْإِيمَانِ، دَائِمًا

Subhaana-llah 'alaa ni'mati 'l-Islam, wa sharafi 'l-Iman, daa-iman

Glory be to Allah for the blessing of Islam and the honor of faith, always

الْـحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ شَأْنُهُ، وَلَا إِلَٰهَ غَيْرُهُ

Al-Hamdu-lillah ta'ala shaa'nuhu, wa laa ilaaha ghayruh

All praise is due to Allah, exalted is His glory, and there is no god other than Him

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

Allahu Akbar

Allah is Greatest

Allah is Most Great with great greatness, and all praise is due to Allah abundantly, and glory be to Allah morning and evening. There is no god but Allah, alone with no partner. To Him belongs the kingdom and all praise. He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things. Glory be to my Lord, the Most High, the Supreme, the Bestower.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلِّمْ

Allahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa 'alaa aali Muhammadin wa sallim

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad and grant peace

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ الْـحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ

Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem, Al-hamdu lillahi Rabbi 'l-'alameen, Ar-Rahmani 'r-Raheem, Maliki yawmi 'd-deen, Iyyaka na'budu wa iyyaka nasta'een, Ihdina 's-sirata 'l-mustaqeem, Sirata 'lladhina an'amta 'alayhim, ghayri 'l-maghdubi 'alayhim wa la 'd-dalleen

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked Your anger or of those who are astray.
