ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ 4×

Allāhu Akbar

allah Is Most Great

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللّٰهُ 2×

Ash-hadu an lā ilāha illa-llāh

أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ ٱللّٰهِ 2×

حَيَّ عَلَى ٱلصَّلَاةِ 2×

Ḥayya ʿalaṣ-ṣalāh

ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ 2×

Allāhu Akbar

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللّٰهُ

Lā ilāha illa-llāh

ٱلصَّلَاةُ وَٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ، يَا مَنْ أَرْسَلَهُ ٱللّٰهُ تَعَالَىٰ رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ

Aṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu ʿalayk, yā man arsalahu-llāhu taʿālā raḥmatan li 'l-ʿālamīn

ٱلصَّلَاةُ وَٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ، وَعَلَىٰ آلِكَ وَصَحْبِكَ أَجْمَعِينَ

Aṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu ʿalayk, wa ʿalā ālika wa ṣaḥbika ajmaʿīn

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللّٰهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ 3×

Ash-hadu an lā ilāha illa-llāh, wa ash-hadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhu wa rasūluh

meaning

أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللّٰهَ 100×

Astaghfiru-llāh

istighfar

قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ۝ ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ ۝ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ ۝ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ 3×

Qul Huwa 'Llāhu Aḥad, Allāhu 'ṣ-Ṣamad, Lam yalid wa lam yūlad, wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad

meaning

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ، وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ، وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ

Subḥāna Rabbika Rabbi 'l-ʿizzati ʿammā yaṣifūn, wa salāmun ʿala 'l-mursalīn, wa 'l-ḥamdu li-llāhi Rabbi 'l-ʿālamīn

final Declarations1

إِلَىٰ شَرَفِ ٱلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَآلِهِ وَأَصْحَابِهِ ٱلْكِرَامِ، وَإِلَىٰ مَشَايِخِنَا فِي ٱلطَّرِيقَةِ ٱلنَّقْشَبَنْدِيَّةِ ٱلْعَلِيَّةِ، خَاصَّةً إِلَىٰ رُوحِ إِمَامِ ٱلطَّرِيقَةِ شَاهِ بَهَاءِ ٱلدِّينِ نَقْشَبَنْدَ مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلْأُوَيْسِيِّ ٱلْبُخَارِيِّ، وَإِلَىٰ مَوْلَانَا سُلْطَانِ ٱلْأَوْلِيَاءِ ٱلشَّيْخِ عَبْدِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلْفَائِزِ ٱلدَّاغِسْتَانِيِّ، وَأُسْتَاذِنَا مَوْلَانَا ٱلشَّيْخِ نَاظِمٍ ٱلْحَقَّانِيِّ، وَسَائِرِ سَادَاتِنَا وَٱلصِّدِّيقِينَ - ٱلْفَاتِحَةُ

Ilā sharafi 'n-Nabiyyi ﷺ wa ālihi wa aṣḥābihi 'l-kirām, wa ilā mashāyikhinā fī 'ṭ-ṭarīqati 'n-Naqshbandiyyati 'l-ʿaliyya, khāṣṣatan ilā rūḥi imāmi 'ṭ-ṭarīqa Shāh Bahāʾi 'd-Dīn Naqshband Muḥammadin 'l-Uwaysiyyi 'l-Bukhārī, wa ilā Mawlānā Sulṭāni 'l-awliyāʾ ash-Shaykh ʿAbdi 'llāhi 'l-Fāʾiz ad-Dāghistānī, wa ustādhinā Mawlānā ash-Shaykh Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī, wa sāʾiri sādātinā wa 'ṣ-ṣiddīqīn — al-Fātiḥa

(ٱللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ)

Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli Muḥammad

قَدْ قَامَتِ ٱلصَّلَاةُ 2×

Qad qāmati 'ṣ-ṣalāh

The prayer has begun

ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ 2×

Allāhu Akbar

Allah is Most Great

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللّٰهُ (1×)

Lā ilāha illa 'Llāh

There is no god but Allah

‍️ Four Rakʿāt Fard (Obligatory Prayer)

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللّٰهُ 2×

There is no god but Allah

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللّٰهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ ٱللّٰهِ

Lā ilāha illa 'Llāh Muḥammadun Rasūlu 'Llāh

There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah

أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللّٰهَ 3×

Astaghfiru-llāh

I seek forgiveness from Allah

أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللّٰهَ ٱلْعَظِيمَ ٱلَّذِي لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْحَيُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ

Astaghfirullāha 'l-ʿaẓīma 'lladhī lā ilāha illa Huwa 'l-Ḥayyu 'l-Qayyūm wa atūbu ilayh

I seek forgiveness from Allah the Magnificent who there is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining, and I turn to Him in repentance

ٱللَّهُمَّ أَنتَ ٱلسَّلَامُ وَمِنكَ ٱلسَّلَامُ، تَبَارَكْتَ وَتَعَالَيْتَ، يَا ذَا ٱلْجَلَالِ وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ

Allāhumma anta 's-salāmu wa minka 's-salām, tabārakta wa taʿālayta, yā dhā 'l-jalāli wa 'l-ikrām

O Allah, You are Peace and from You is peace. Blessed are You and Exalted, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor.

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللّٰهُ، وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

Lā ilāha illa-llāh, waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu 'l-mulk, wa lahu 'l-ḥamd, wa huwa ʿalā kulli shay'in qadīr. Samiʿnā wa aṭaʿnā ghufrānaka Rabbanā wa ilayka 'l-maṣīr

There is no god but Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs the sovereignty and to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over all things. We hear and we obey, [grant us] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination.

‍️ Four Rakʿāt Fard (Obligatory Prayer)

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللّٰهُ 2×

Final Praises & Dedications

Praises Upon the Prophet ﷺ

عَلَىٰ أَشْرَفِ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلصَّلَوَاتُ

ʿAlā ashrafi 'l-ʿālamīna Sayyidinā Muḥammadini 's-ṣalawāt (sallam)

Upon the most noble of all creation, our Master Muhammad — blessings (peace)

عَلَىٰ أَفْضَلِ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلصَّلَوَاتُ

ʿAlā afḍali 'l-ʿālamīna Sayyidinā Muḥammadini 's-ṣalawāt (sallam)

Upon the most excellent of all creation, our Master Muhammad — blessings (peace)

عَلَىٰ أَكْمَلِ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلصَّلَوَاتُ

ʿAlā akmali 'l-ʿālamīna Sayyidinā Muḥammadini 's-ṣalawāt (sallam)

Upon the most perfect of all creation, our Master Muhammad — blessings (peace)

Comprehensive Salawat

صَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَأَنْبِيَائِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَجَمِيعِ خَلْقِهِ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، وَرَضِيَ ٱللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَنْ سَادَاتِنَا أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ أَجْمَعِينَ، وَعَنِ ٱلتَّابِعِينَ بِهِم بِإِحْسَانٍ، وَعَنِ ٱلْعُلَمَاءِ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ، وَعَنِ ٱلْأَوْلِيَاءِ ٱلصَّالِحِينَ، وَعَنْ مَشَايِخِنَا فِي ٱلطَّرِيقَةِ ٱلنَّقْشَبَنْدِيَّةِ ٱلْعَلِيَّةِ، قَدَّسَ ٱللَّهُ تَعَالَىٰ أَرْوَاحَهُمُ ٱلزَّكِيَّةَ، وَنَوَّرَ ٱللَّهُ تَعَالَىٰ أَضْرِحَتَهُمُ ٱلْمُبَارَكَةَ، وَأَعَادَ ٱللَّهُ تَعَالَىٰ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ بَرَكَاتِهِمْ وَفُيُوضَاتِهِمْ دَائِمًا، وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ

Ṣalawātu 'Llāhi taʿālā wa malāʾikatihi wa anbiyāʾihi wa rusulihi wa jamīʿi khalqihi ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli Muḥammad, ʿalayhi wa ʿalayhimu 's-salām wa raḥmatu 'Llāhi taʿālā wa barakātuhu, wa raḍiya 'Llāhu tabāraka wa taʿālā ʿan sādātinā aṣḥābi rasūli 'Llāhi ajmaʿīn, wa ʿani 't-tābiʿīna bihim bi iḥsān, wa ʿani 'l-ʿulamāʾi 'l-muttaqīn, wa ʿani 'l-awliyāʾi 'ṣ-ṣāliḥīn, wa ʿan mashāyikhinā fi 'ṭ-ṭarīqati 'n-Naqshbandiyyati 'l-ʿaliyya, qaddasa 'Llāhu taʿālā arwāḥahumu 'z-zakiyya, wa nawwara 'Llāhu taʿālā aḍriḥatahumu 'l-mubāraka, wa aʿāda 'Llāhu taʿālā ʿalaynā min barakātihim wa fuyūḍātihim dāʾiman wa 'l-ḥamdu li-llāhi rabbi 'l-ʿālamīn.

May the blessings of Allah Most High, His angels, His prophets, His messengers, and all of His creation be upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad. Upon him and upon them be peace and the mercy of Allah Most High and His blessings. And may Allah the Blessed and Most High be pleased with our masters, the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, all of them, and with those who follow them with excellence, and with the God-fearing scholars, and with the righteous saints, and with our shaykhs in the Naqshbandi Order. May Allah Most High sanctify their pure souls and illuminate their blessed graves, and may Allah Most High return to us from their blessings and overflowing grace always, and all praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.

Final Dedication

ٱللَّهُمَّ بَلِّغْ ثَوَابَ مَا قَرَأْنَاهُ وَنُورَ مَا تَلَوْنَاهُ هَدِيَّةً وَاصِلَةً مِنَّا إِلَىٰ رُوحِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ وَإِلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِ ٱلْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَٱلْأَوْلِيَاءِ، خَاصَّةً إِلَىٰ رُوحِ شَاهِ نَقْشَبَنْدَ وَشَيْخِنَا عَبْدِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلدَّاغِسْتَانِيِّ، وَٱلشَّيْخِ نَاظِمٍ ٱلْحَقَّانِيِّ وَٱلصِّدِّيقِينَ — ٱلْفَاتِحَةُ

Allāhumma balligh thawāba mā qaraʾnāhu wa nūra mā talawnāhu hadiyyatan wāṣilatan minnā ilā rūḥi Nabiyyinā Muḥammadin ﷺ wa ilā arwāḥi 'l-anbiyāʾi wa 'l-awliyāʾ, khāṣṣatan ilā rūḥi Shāh Naqshband wa Shaykhinā ʿAbdi 'llāhi 'd-Dāghistānī, wa 'sh-Shaykh Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī wa 'ṣ-ṣiddīqīn — al-Fātiḥa

O Allah, convey the reward of what we have recited and the light of what we have chanted as a gift reaching from us to the spirit of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and to the spirits of the Prophets and Saints, especially to the spirit of Shah Naqshband and our Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani, and Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani and the truthful ones — al-Fātiḥa

Qur'anic Recitations

️ Āyatu 'l-Kursī (2:255)

ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْحَيُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُۥ سِنَةٌۭ وَلَا نَوْمٌۭ ۚ لَّهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِۦ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَىْءٍۢ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَـُٔودُهُۥ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

Allāhu lā ilāha illa Huwa 'l-Ḥayyu 'l-Qayyūm. Lā ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa lā nawm. Lahu mā fī 's-samāwāti wa mā fī 'l-arḍ. Man dhā 'Lladhī yashfaʿu ʿindahu illā bi idhnih. Yaʿlamu mā bayna aydīhim wa mā khalfahum. Wa lā yuḥīṭūna bi shayʾin min ʿilmihi illā bi mā shāʾ. Wasiʿa kursiyyuhu 's-samāwāti wa 'l-arḍ. Wa lā yaʾūduhu ḥifẓuhumā. Wa Huwa 'l-ʿAliyyu 'l-ʿAẓīm

Allah – there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them. They encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursī extends over the heavens and the earth. Their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

صَدَقَ ٱللّٰهُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

Ṣadaqa 'Llāhu 'l-ʿAẓīm

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth

Four Rakʿāt Sunnah (After Fard)

Qur'anic Recitation

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم، بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

A'ūdhu billāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm; Bismillāhi 'r-Raḥmāni 'r-Raḥīm

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the rejected; In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

وَإِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ الرَّحِيمُ

Wa ilāhukum ilāhun wāḥidun, lā ilāha illa Huwa 'r-Raḥmānu 'r-Raḥīm

Your God is one God. There is no deity except Him, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. (Surat al-Baqara 2:163)

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

Allahu laa ilaaha illa Huwa 'l-Hayyu 'l-Qayyum. Laa ta'-khudhuhu sinatun wa laa nawm. Lahu maa fi 's-samawaati wa maa fi 'l-ard. Man dha 'Lladhi yashfa`u `indahu illa bi idhnih. Ya`lamu maa bayna aydeehim wa maa khalfahum. Wa laa yuheetuna bi shayy'in min `ilmihi illa bi ma shaa'. Wasi`a kursiyyuhu 's-samaawati wa 'l-ard. Wa laa yaa-uduhu hifzhuhuma. Wa Huwa 'l-'Aliyyu 'l-`Azheem

صَدَقَ اللهُ العَظِيمُ

Sadaqa 'Lllahu 'l-`Azheem

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth

Tasbīḥ (Glorification)

سُبْحَانَكَ يَا عَظِيمُ، سُبْحَانَ ٱللهِ 33×

Subḥānaka yā ʿAẓīm, Subḥān Allāh

Glory be to You, O Great One; Glory be to Allah

عَلَىٰ نِعْمَةِ ٱلْإِسْلَامِ، وَشَرَفِ ٱلْإِيمَانِ، دَائِمًا، ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ 33×

ʿAlā niʿmati 'l-Islām, wa sharafi 'l-īmān, dāʾiman, Al-ḥamdu lillāh

For the blessing of Islam and the honor of faith, always; Praise be to Allah

تَعَالَىٰ شَأْنُهُ، وَلَا إِلٰهَ غَيْرُهُ، ٱللهُ أَكْبَرُ 33×

Taʿālā shaʾnuhu, wa lā ilāha ghayruhu, Allāhu Akbar

Exalted is His glory, and there is no god other than Him; Allah is the Greatest

ٱللهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا، وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ كَثِيرًا، وَسُبْحَانَ ٱللهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْأَعْلَى ٱلْوَهَّابِ

Allāhu akbaru kabīran, wa 'l-ḥamdu lillāhi kathīran, wa subḥāna 'Llāhi bukratan wa aṣīlan, Lā ilāha illa-llāh waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu 'l-mulk, wa lahu 'l-ḥamd, yuḥyī wa yumīt, wa Huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr. Subḥāna Rabbī 'l-ʿAliyyu 'l-aʿlā 'l-Wahhāb

Allah is the Greatest, greatly; praise be to Allah abundantly; and glory be to Allah morning and evening. There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise. He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things. Glory be to my Lord, the Most High, the Most Exalted, the Bestower.
