Daily Awrad (أوراد يومية)
The Three Levels of Spiritual Practice
Progressive levels of daily spiritual practices in the Naqshbandi tradition, designed to guide practitioners from initiation to complete spiritual dedication.
The Path of Progressive Development
The Awrad system provides a structured approach to spiritual development, with three distinct levels designed to meet practitioners where they are and guide them toward deeper realization.
What is Awrad?
Awrad (أوراد) are the daily spiritual practices assigned to disciples in the Naqshbandi Order. They consist of specific dhikr formulas, prayers, and spiritual exercises designed to purify the heart and establish a constant connection with Allah.
The three levels of Awrad correspond to different stages of spiritual development. Each level builds upon the previous one, gradually increasing in intensity and depth as the practitioner's capacity for spiritual practice grows.
These practices are not merely recitations but sacred technologies for spiritual transformation, passed down through the golden chain of Naqshbandi masters for over a thousand years.
